To be a Christian, verily, is to be someone who, through their way of living, worshiping, and following God, seeks to be like Christ in everything. Thus, in prayer as well, a true Christian seeks this likeness to Christ.
Let's meditate...
Let us see how Christ stood to pray:
"And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed."
(Luke 5:16)
"And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,"
(Luke 22:41)
"And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed."
(Mark 1:35)
Therefore, just like Christ, let us seek to separate ourselves from everything and everyone early every day, closing our doors to any noise and possible distraction, and praying to the FATHER in secret. Likewise, let us pray daily ON OUR KNEES, humbling ourselves in submission, worshiping, thanking, and asking in the presence of God, the Almighty, in the name of the Lord Jesus.
The Apostle Paul also prayed on his knees, even in the presence of his brothers. It is written:
"And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all."
(Acts 20:36)
Therefore, more and more, let us kneel down and pray to our FATHER!
